PROCESS AND QUALITY FOR FABRICATED ITEMS

Raw Material
The Raw material for our products includes Sheets/Plantes, Angles, Chemicals, Steel Bars, Pipes, ets. They are checked for the dimension by measurement and the same is recorded in inspection sheet. The material used by us conform to IS 2062 or the material spec as required by the clients. For checking of physical and chamical properties of Raw material on sample is cut from each lot and sent to authorized lab for testing. These test results are recorded in inspection sheet.

Fabrication

Cutting : The Material is then cut or sheared as per the size required as per shop drawing made by our engineers or as per specification of clients. Then the material is checked to ensure it is free from burs, sharp edge etc. The record is maintained by the supervisor on shop floor in inspection Sheet.

Drilling & Punching : The material is then driled / punched or drill machines depending on the dia. of holes and qualtity of material. The processed material is checked to ensure it is free from burrs etc. and dimensional check is conduct by supervisors with the client specification.

Welding : The material is than fixed into a jig of required size made as per drawing, then material is welded gradually to make it free from any distortion. The material is then cleared of flux to see a pinhole free welding.

Inspection : The material is then fully inspected for conformity to drawing, visual appearance and rectification or rejection of any non-confirming material is done.
